Qatron - Sufi School of Perfection
In Djizzak, situated between Samarkand and Tashkent, in Uzbekistan, a Centre for Self-Advancement Training by the name of “QATRON Sufi School of Perfection” was opened. Here, students can learn the ancient Sufi techniques for creating a balance between body, heart, mind and spirit, necessary for attaining a healthy and purposeful state and thus ridding the organism of imbalance and illness. The techniques practised in QATRON have their origin in the teachings of the Sufi Saint Hodja Ahmad Yassaviy, who lived in the 12th century. Based on his knowledge and experience, Sufi Tabib created a contemporary interpretation Nursafardiyya or “Voyage to God with the help of the light of the heart”. Among the 14 topics taught in QATRON are philosophy, medicine, meditation and respiration, martial arts as well as literature poetry and music, choreography and Sufi life style.
Courses are open to candidates male and female between 10 and 55 years of age. The time of study can vary between 3 months and up to 2 years depending on inclination and interest. Up to 250 students can be accommodated; included are 10 places for foreigners.
